Himley Station

A quiet station on the outskirts of Himley, near the Earl of Dudley's estate at Himley Hall. Originally the station was supposed to have a passing loop and a signal box. Sadly, when the line was completed, the line was only laid on the platform containing the main building.

The main booking hall and waiting room are the mirror image of Wombourn station. Other buildings were a cattle/horse dock, a siding for local pick-up freight and a weighbridge office.
